Acadia Weathervanes, The Woodshop Cupolas, Inc.'s line of handcrafted copper weathervanes are designed and built by Phil Alley in his Bar Harbor, Maine workshop. Each weathervane is etched with his signature, copyright date and Bar Harbor, Maine so you will know you have a genuine Phil Alley original. Every one of Phil's handcrafted Acadia Weathervanes comes with a written guarantee.
All weathervanes are designed at our shop in Bar Harbor, signed and copyrighted. We don't use iron molds. Every piece is hand-formed and carefully soldered together, using sheet copper and copper tubing, a stainless steel rod and a brass pole. Each vane is completed with a set of brass directionals and two copper balls.
